This is a new stand-alone driver release of Sound Blaster PCI128 for users running on Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP only.

This release was tested on Sound Blaster Audio PCI (Model CT475x) and includes the Creative Minidisc Center patch. It is WHQL certified and will detect the Operating System language and install the relevant language drivers.

This release was tested on Sound Blaster Audio PCI (Model CT475x) and includes the Creative Minidisc Center patch. It is WHQL certified and will detect the Operating System language and install the relevant language drivers.

This is a new driver release for users running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium Edition. This update supports the Sound Blaster PCI128 (Model No. CT4750 & CT4751).

Windows 95 users will need to install either DirectX7 or DirectX8 for Gameport joystick support.

Note: This release requires the following files to be downloaded for complete installation:

• Windows 9x drivers p128w9x.lib (2,538,762 bytes)
• Windows 2000 drivers p128w2k.lib (2,476,013 btyes)
• Windows NT drivers p128wnt.lib (2,399,215 bytes)

Please perform the following steps to install Gameport Joystick drivers in Windows 95 :-

Option a
1. Install DirectX 7a
2. Reboot the computer
3. Proceed to install the Sound Blaster PCI128 Driver Web Release

Option b
1. Install DirectX 8.0
2. Reboot the computer
3. Install DCOM v1.3 (as directed by the DirectX 8 installation)
4. Reboot the computer
5. Proceed to install the Sound Blaster PCI128 Driver Web Release
